Haselbury SNT officers School talk about online safety in Hazelbury Primary School

Haselbury Safer Neighbourhood Officers visited Hazelbury Primary School this week and provided Online Safety advice to students in year 5 and 6.

Officers provided a valuable session on online safety, covering everything about safely using smartphone and social media. With many pupils handling personal devices guidance is crucial on navigating the internet responsibly. Key topics included:

Protecting Personal Data

Digital Footprint - understanding that online choices and comments leave permanent trace.

Recognising Risks- Communicating online with people in social media and games.

Students had the opportunity to engage with officers, ask questions, observe and check out officers uniform and kit.
